The Design Team and Programme Planning

At the start of the planning process, we engaged a number of professionals to give us statutory information required for the development. We undertook a bat survey, location and topographical, utilities survey, arboricultural, soil and landscape architecture. I’ll focus on the light, Landscape, arboricultural and structural and building engineering over the next few posts.

The Arboricultural Survey is an important aspect of the development. Given we live in a conservation area and sustainability is important to us. We need to get an impact assessment on the tree’s, which trees need protection and the method of protecting the trees and landscape. This ultimately influences the landscape architecture plan we’re developing with Urquhart & Hunt.
