We’ve always wanted to move back to Hampshire and we always talked about it as a key part of our ten year plan.
We needed a home that works for our family which includes a toddler and a disabled son, We realised we couldn’t afford to live in London anymore and needed a home that suits our quirky needs.
Dianthus was the first house we looked at in Houghton, near Stockbridge. A small 60s bungalow on a 1.3 acre conservation area backing on to the River Test in a chocolate box village seemed perfect.
We visited Dianthus on the 7th of April 2016. It was a beautiful day and our daughter and Gizmo, the dog we were dog-sitting for the day were totally at home playing and running around. Katie and I looked at each other and we knew there and then this was the place for us and our crazy family.
